Site being marketed commercially - how to support the Parish Council bid

The Forest Row Parish Council and FRowResource are aware of the station road site being marketed commercially and this is part of the ESCC’s compliance with their own standing orders covering the asset disposal procedure. ESCC notified us that this would happen some months ago.

The marketing of the site does not change the campaign to regain the site for the village as a community asset at below market price.

The ESCC are fully aware of our intentions and all the detail behind them and have made provision for the recognition of social value in the bid process.

We have support from some ESCC county councillors, some district councillors and our MP Nus Ghani.

However we may need to remind ESCC that our community is very serious about this so we have two initiatives which anyone who supports this campaign can take part in.
